Maya June Mansour is an artist and organizer originally from Nashville, Tennessee with lineage in the Black American South and the Middle East. She received a BA in carceral studies from Evergreen State College and in 2020 was one of the inaugural fellows at Abrahamic House, a think tank that studies the intersection of contemporary spirituality and community building. Maya’s current work explores transnational Black identity, discourse, and healing using the mediums of analog photography and textiles.
